DIY: Halloween Candy Bark

Halloween is almost here! I love making candy bark because there are so many different types of cool designs you can recreate depending on the season/holiday. I found this SUPER easy recipe from Just a Taste, but feel free to change it up and create your own version!

Ingredients: Bittersweet chocolate (3 cups) and your favorite candy (2 cups/bite size)

Prep: 5 minutes

Cook time: 5 minutes

10-12 Servings

I personally have made this recipe with Halloween-themed Oreos, pretzels, and M&M’s, but the most important thing to add are the beady eyeballs (for the creep vibe!). If you can’t find them at your local grocery store, click this link.

Steps

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper

Melt the bittersweet chocolate until it is smoothly consistent

Pour the chocolate on the sheet with a spatula

Spread the candy pieces across the melted chocolate evenly

Place in the refrigerator and chill for 30-45 minutes

Want to try a healthy version? Follow the same steps, except substitute dark chocolate and add pretzels, nuts, shredded coconut flakes, and dried fruit.

      It really is!! The trick is to keep it in a tight Ziploc bag after you’ve refrigerated it so that it stays soft 🙂

    I made it yesterday for my boyfriend and he LOVED it!! The ziploc trick worked I’m still eating it today lol
